The assistant director of food and beverage at The Boca Raton, Philip Corhan, has over 25 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry. In 2015, Philip Corhan opened his own consulting firm, Corhan Consulting Corp LLC, to help hospitality businesses enhance operations to improve customer service and drive profitability.
Mr. Corhan started his career in the food and beverage industry in 2000 as a general manager at Junior’s Cheesecake. He then served as director of operations at City Barn Group from 2009 to 2015, where he managed operations for six underground kitchen concepts in New York City and implemented several initiatives that boosted productivity and profitability.
From 2015 to 2020, Mr. Corhan served as director of operations at GRK Fresh Greek. In five years, he led the fast-growing start-up to scale operations from one to eight locations across New York City, Washington, D.C., and Dubai. He oversaw crew and management training, menu rollouts, and new location launches. His work earned him the prestigious Golden Apple Award.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Philip Corhan, has a degree in business administration and management and is a certified ServSafe instructor and a Train the Trainer instructor. His interests away from work include football coaching, sports memorabilia, and collecting stamps.
